Garfield Farm Museum will sponsor a Home Spun Holiday Market at the farm on the weekend of the traditional Candlelight Reception (Saturday and Sunday Dec. 3-4). The market and museum benefit will feature of variety of one-of-a-kind items by craftspeople using time-honored, traditional methods, including quilted pieces, hand spun yarn, hand made brooms, decorated gourds, hooked rugs, wooden band boxes, footstools, pottery, seasonal dried floral wreaths and wrought iron items. The market will be held from Noon to 7 pm on both days at the museum's visitor center, Burr House. Free admission. The museum's Candlelight will open later at 3 pm and continue to 7 pm at the 1846 Garfield Inn.
