Reserve now for the September 12 and 19th seminar on making ones own personalized paper and books with papermaking artists Cheryl Mahowald and Carla Klausler of Prairie Spirit Papers at Garfield Farm Museum. Many of the plants of the backyard can be used to create beautiful papers. Daylilies, daffodils, and irises are just a few that can be used to make some unforgettable papers. The second day of the class will have participants make booklets of the paper they made with the basic stitches of bookbinding.
